WSF Makes an Impact During the PBR Teams Championship Weekend

From the runway to the fairway to T-Mobile Arena, the Western industry showed up in support of Western Sports Foundation events during the 2025 PBR Teams Championship weekend.
Athletes, fans, and partners came together throughout the PBR Teams Championship weekend in Las Vegas for a series of WSF activations. Each event and attended came together for one goal: supporting the health and well-being of Western sports athletes.
Peyton’s Project Runway
The weekend kicked off with a signature favorite, Peyton’s Project Runway, an event named after and championed by Peyton Gay. What began as an afternoon of style and celebration quickly became a powerful moment of giving.
Bull riders and their families took the runway to model Western-inspired looks, bringing together the best of fashion and rodeo spirit. But the real highlight came when the final total was revealed: more than $116,000 raised for WSF programs.
Those funds will directly support mental health care, neurological services, and financial assistance for athletes and their families, continuing the legacy of an event that’s already raised more than $600,000 for WSF since its debut in 2019.
WSF extends sincere thanks to Peyton Gay for her creative vision, to our generous event partners and attendees for their support, as well as to our MC, Scott Grover, auctioneer, Brady Sims, and ring men, Jake Goist and Jerran Miller, for keeping the energy high from start to finish.
PBR Teams Championship Golf Tournament
Saturday morning brought a different kind of competition as our friends at Outlaw Partners and PBR brought us to Bali Hai for some friendly competition during the 2025 PBR Teams Championship Golf Tournament. Fourteen teams hit the course for a day filled with camaraderie, rivalry, and purpose-driven play.
Each swing, putt, and handshake represented a commitment to helping athletes when they need it most. From the tee-off to the final putt, the event captured the spirit of community that defines Western sports.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to Outlaw Partners, PBR, all fourteen teams, and the many sponsors who made this day possible. Your generosity fuels programs that change lives.
Plinko for a Purpose
Throughout the PBR Teams Championship, WSF brought some extra fun to fans inside T-Mobile Arena with our interactive activation, Plinko for a Purpose. Fans lined up to drop pucks, win prizes, and enter exclusive raffles—all while learning how WSF helps athletes through every stage of their careers.
Between the laughter, excitement, and friendly competition, the game became more than entertainment. It was a chance for fans to give back, raising awareness and funds to keep WSF’s mission strong.
A Weekend of Impact
Across every event, from the runway to the fairway to the arena, one message rang clear: when the Western sports community comes together, incredible things happen.
Each donation, bid, and game of plinko helps ensure WSF can continue offering essential programs in mental health, neurological care, career transition support, and more. Together, those efforts create a foundation athletes can rely on long after their time in the arena.
As the Carolina Cowboys were crowned the 2025 PBR Teams Series Champions, WSF was proud to celebrate alongside every team and athlete who made this season one to remember.
